This exciting role will provide education and skills to people who have been engaged with VIA who are the local Substance Misuse treatment provider across the county.

**Job Purpose**:
The main purpose of the job is to provide the effective delivery of our Ambassador Programme, while also enhancing our relationships with our partner agencies.

Our Ambassador Service Lead will play a key role in an integrated approach to the core functions of:

- Identifying, training and developing 'Ambassadors' through the full programme and into volunteer placements
- Delivering our Level 2 - Accredited Information, Advice and Guidance Training
- Maintaining positive and pro-active relationships with partner organisations
- Augmenting existing services
- Embedding joint working practices and promoting positive change
- Creating a new pathway into services that has an open door policy, making recovery more visible and attractive to others
- Capturing Service User Feedback - Evaluations for co-production activities
- Implementing and co-ordinating sustainable community recovery initiatives
- Production of information and marketing resources
- Mapping locally available social prescribing activities to promote within the service
- Co-producing fluid service groups to meet local needs
- Integrating within Tier 3 Drug and Alcohol services to manage and maintain suitable referral flow to the Ambassador Programme Training
- Ensuring company compliance to national safeguarding standards

Our programmes are educationally based, accredited and highly impactful, providing practical tools for improved mental health which puts the adult learner firmly in control of their own decisions and plans.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To support the Service Manager in the implementation of new Ambassador Service
- Maintaining levels of Ambassador Individuals for the service to function and meet obligations to partners
- To manage and develop Ambassadors to an excellent and proficient standard
- To ensure that routine tasks are completed by the assigned people
- To support the development and collation of the Ambassador Programme and Service evidence base through implementation of data collection structures, data collation, presentation, analysis and reporting of information.
- To liaise with partner agencies and others in building and maintaining effective relationships that support business growth and the collation of contract, performance and outcome information.
- To promote and support the mission, vision and values of the company at all times, providing a quality service and treating all those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner.
- To be aware of and compliant with all company policies and procedures.
- Any other duties appropriate to the role as tasked by the Senior Management Team.

**Annual Leave**: 25 days paid holiday pa + bank holidays, rising to 28 days holiday + bank holidays with each full service year accrued
