**Job Title: Junior Accounts Assistant**
**Location: Sheffield**

**Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch break)**
**Salary: Competitive**

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Junior Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting various financial functions within the organization, including:
Assisting with financial audits and controls.
Collecting timesheets for timely payment processing.
Calculating and processing payroll for both Head office and site teams.
Weekly updates of holiday pay and accrual spreadsheets.
Adding new employees to Sage payroll and assigning them to cost centers.
Updating supplier and customer information in Sage Accounts.
Inputting invoice data for sales and purchase invoices.
Verifying purchasing invoices against relevant orders and matching them with delivery notes.
Efficiently handling queries from customers, suppliers, and staff.
Completing general office duties and document control.
Providing support to the management accountant with month-end duties.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Good communication skills.
Strong numeracy skills.
Effective time management abilities.
Experience in administering payroll.
Ideally studying towards AAT or equivalent, or relevant financial academic or work experience with a view to taking on further study.
Ideally, experience in using SAGE.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
