Bricklayer/ Stonemason/ General Builder

**Duties**:

- Lay bricks/ stone, concrete blocks, or other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, or other structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to determine specifications and materials required.
- Measure and cut materials to the required size using hand or power tools.
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using a trowel.
- Align structures vertically and horizontally, using levels.
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces to ensure a clean and professional finish.
- Repair, maintain, and restore existing masonry structures.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a brick mason or similar role.
- Knowledge of different types of bricks, blocks, and stones.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels and levels.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £17.50-£22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Cirencester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
