**Classroom Assistant - Play Leader (Wandsworth)**

A fantastic Special Needs School located in the Wandsworth Borough are looking for a Classroom Assistant - Play Leader to work with children to support with special needs and other groups of children of varying abilities and general classroom support underthe guidance of the class teacher. The role is a fulltime position from Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 4:45pm, and 4pm on Fridays.

**Previous experience as a Classroom Assistant - Play Leader would be ideal but experience working with children in some form of capacity and willingness to work with SEN children is essential. Previous experience with SEN is preferential**

**The Role**:

- Support pupils to achieve learning goals as a Classroom Assistant - Play Leader
- Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs as a Classroom Assistant
- As a Classroom Assistant - Play Leader you will often support children 1:1
- Care about children's learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and development as a Classroom Assistant - Play Leader
- Be proactive in helping students that need support during lessons

**Requirements**:

- Available to work fulltime, Monday to Friday
- Ideally have prior experience working as a Classroom Assistant - Play Leader
- Previous experience working with children in a school or alternate setting
- Available full time for ideally long term contracts.
- Either live in the Wandsworth borough, or within a commutable distance
