The School based in Barnsley is a specialist provision that caters for students aged 5 - 16 with social emotional mental health issues
**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of Pastoral Care Worker you will:
- At least 3 months experience in a SEMH, PRU setting, residential or youth work
- Previous experience of working with behaviours that challenge is highly desirable
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to react calmly in stressful situations.
- Have to support all students with consistent, unconditional positive regard, identifying and responding to their individual needs
- The ability to work on initiative and proactively
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- A minimum of 3 months within a similar setting
