Chicken Catcher

Position available in the poultry industry.

JD:As a Poultry Catcher you'll work as part of a team travelling to a number of poultry farms on a daily basis and your main job will be catching live birds and loading them safely into the modular catching system.

**Main duties include**:

- Prioritising and working to strict welfare standards
- Catching and loading birds into module drawers
- Accurate record keeping
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times

**What you will need**:

- It is desirable that you have previous catching experience
- You will have good knowledge/understanding of animal welfare
- To be flexible with working hours and able to work as a team
- Good communication skills

**Salary**: £31,200 per annum.

Ideally you will be physically fit as this is a demanding manual labour job. You will need to be reliable and

willing to do shift work.

Experience driving a moffett would be advantageous.

Licence/ forklift licence would be an advantage. 5 week holiday allowance per annum.
