We have an impactful and exciting opportunity for a Junior Buyer to join our Barnstaple team, supporting the Senior Buyer & Buyer with daily procurement tasks, place and expedite purchase orders for the business, whilst ensuring that best value procurement is undertaken and that materials, products or services are fit for purpose, available within the timescales required and comply with overall SEA governance.

**What you’ll do**
- Source products or services, in line with production demand raised from ERP
- system or purchase requests raised from other business areas.
- Obtain competitive quotations through requests or tenders
- Negotiate and agree individual orders or contracts e.g. Price, Quantity, Services, Delivery, Quality, Time Scales etc
- Develop strong relationships with our suppliers to ensure that our business goals
- are achieved
- Carry out any other tasks as required by the Supply Chain Manager appropriate to the job function.

- Proactive attitude to problem solving to ensure on time delivery
- A desire to learn the procurement processes
