Production Assembly Operator Days Regular

Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting production operatives to join our clients manufacturing site in the Ebbw Vale area.
These roles are full time, ongoing working for a leading manufacture who are considered an employer of choice within the local area who offer industry leading training & great working environment with overtime regularly available.
**Rates of pay:
**Pay rate starts at £9.50 while training increasing to £10.48 thereafter.
**Hours of work:
**Days regular 6:00am - 2.30pm Mon-Thurs and 6am-12pm on Fridays.
**Duties will include**:

- Assembly of components and subassemblies working from assembly instruction sheets.
- Use of hand tools (small pneumatic rivets, micrometer & verniers) or machines to assemble parts.
- Conduct quality control checks in line with quality standards of the plant
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assembly of components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturing instructions,
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Clean and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
- Previous assembly skill-set, who is comfortable working with small handheld tools
- Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety in the work place.
