One of our Law clients is looking for a **Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager** to join their tight-knit change team on a **Fixed Term Contract** basis. Reporting to the Head of the Project Management Office, this is a key role in the PMO managing the delivery and implementation of multiple business projects.

**Location: 2-3 days per week in London Offices**

"You will be working with a range of technologies in a diverse team helping to introduce a new agile way of working as part of an exciting period of transformation for the firm. Within this role, you will be implementing various financial systems in orderto support business critical projects aligned to the overall change agenda. The business has a relatively flat structure so you will have the opportunity to engage with stakeholders at all levels including partners and c-suite."

**Key responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule, and manage multiple projects in line with the **PMO's agile framework**:

- Ensure scope is clearly defined at an **appropriate level for agile delivery**, approved at initiation and managed and controlled throughout delivery
- Contribute to the governance needed to meet the PMO's standards including **status reports, RAIDS, burn downs and project budgets**:

- Identify and support correction of deviations from plans and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
- **Lead Agile ceremonies** which includes daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review and retrospectives
- **Develop relevant communication plans**, working closely with stakeholders to shape methods, messages and successful execution
- Ensure clear roles and responsibilities are set at project initiation across the extended project delivery and stakeholder team
- **Coach and mentor other junior team members** in the Scrum Master role

- Proven experience of running **multiple Scrum Teams as Scrum Master**:

- **Extensive experience of agile project management** with hands-on involvement in a finance system implementation
- **Certified Scrum Master** or equivalent with ability to optimise and take ownership for scrum teams working on multiple projects
- Experience of creating backlogs, roadmaps and user stories
- Excellent facilitation and project team engagement skills **with experience of facilitating effective daily scrum, sprint planning, review and retrospective sessions**:

- Good understanding of SDLC and development pipelines
- **Excellent communication skills** to manage stakeholder expectations and share accurate project progress
- Suitable expertise in tracking progress, decision tracking, risk management, budgets etc.
- Experience of managing business change within an agile context and understanding of recognised approaches to agile change management
- **Good knowledge of JIRA and metrics** to enable successful agile project delivery

**The role is a permanent position with 2-3 days a week travel into a Central London office.
