The Finance Lead for the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) is a new role created to as part of the Bath & North East Somerset Council (B&NES) £130million CRSTS programme delivery team. The role will be responsible for forecasting, monitoring and controlling finances over the lifecycle of the programme and the projects that it is formed.

**About the role**

As the CRSTS Finance Lead you will be a key member of the CRSTS Programme Management Team, responsible for ensuring that the projects you are accountable for are monitored against a financial baseline and lead on budget development, finance monitoring,

assurance and governance. You will act as the lead financial advisor and main point of contact, liaison and co-ordination between the programme delivery team and the Council’s finance team to ensure that all financial matters, including business planning, financial monitoring and risk identification, can be effectively managed and resolved within the programme and across the Council.

**About you**

You will have experience of managing the finances of significant infrastructure projects. As the senior finance lead for the CRSTS projects delivered by the council you will manage the finances of the £130million CRSTS programme and ensure critical aspects are communicated to key stakeholders, including senior leadership team, councillors and the public.

A proactive manager with a collaborative work style, you will lead by example, demonstrating a people-focussed, risk based approach to finances in support of programme and council strategic objectives.

Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes’ walk away.
