4Leisure Recruitment are working exclusively with The Royal Parks, London. We are recruiting Lifeguards for the Boating & Swimming provision, at Hyde Park Boat House (Boating), The Regents Park (Boating) & Serpentine Lido (Swimming).
As a Lifeguard, you’ll champion health and safety while providing bather and user supervision. You will proactively ensure appropriate customer behaviour during use of the lido and boating services. You’ll be required to undertake all day-to-day cleaning,maintenance and remedial work of relevant equipment and fittings to the highest possible standard, working collaboratively as part of the venue operations team on a shift rota basis, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the facility, whilst providingoperational support in all areas to ensure delivery of an exceptional customer experience. You will also ensure the safe embarking and disembarking from our boat fleet and drive the safety boats in the boating lakes.
The Open Water Lifeguard qualification is required for this role, if you do not hold this qualification, do not worry, we can give you the training providing you have the relevant experience within a leisure / visitor-based environment. The course is over3 days, if you hold an active NPLQ qualification, you can do a 1-day conversion course.
On offer is an hourly rate of £12.05. This is a fixed term or casual position, running from March - October 2023, you have the option of being re-employed and returning in March 2024. There are industry leading benefits working with The Royal Parks, withjust some of those listed below;
