**Job Details**
Two posts available to assist the Contracts and Quality Assurance Management Team based at Fife House with blended working, 36 hours per week on a permanent, full time basis with a salary of £38,950.71 to £42,686.23 per annum.
One post will have a main remit in relation to supporting the staff team commissioning care and support packages and the other will support the staff team concerned in facilitating hospital discharge to the Care Home sector.
The Senior Contracts Officer will assist the Quality Assurance and Contracts Section’s Management Team to deliver the ongoing development of Service delivery. Reviewing practices and procedures to ensure effective use of resources.
The successful applicant will mainly be responsible for the oversight of the commissioning process for sourcing/procuring adult care packages/placements, liaising with care at home and care home providers accordingly.
Day to Day management of Contracts Assistants will be required.
The Senior Contracts Officer will report to Team Manager, Contracts & Quality Assurance, who has lead role responsible for commissioning of care services.
**The Person**
The successful applicant will need to work flexibly in their approach to tasks, dealing with competing priorities and to be able to respond to requests for information in a timeous manner. They need to use their initiative in responding to multiple requests for information, support, and guidance from a variety of stakeholders.
The Senior Contracts Officer will have the skills and ability to provide general support to service providers to develop their services, encouraging the provider’s commitment to speedy resolution of complaints and assisting them in implementing of the Council’s best practices within the Council’s in-house provision.
**Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.**
