Buyer

A leading British manufacturer supplying its products to the logistics industry, both internationally and within the UK, are looking for a Buyer to join their established purchasing team. The company has recently undertaken new management, and this person will be a key component in fulfilling their aspirations of increasing revenue by 10 million and growing the business further.

**To be successful in this Buyer position you will have**:

- Experience as a buyer, planning and scheduling material deliveries in line with production plans
- Worked closely with suppliers to maintain relationships and ensure timely delivery
- Controlled costs for all purchases and price variances.
- Strong market knowledge and ability to implement cost-reduction incentives.
- Previously undertaken bench-marking exercises (or similar)
