Driller

This is a very exciting and progressive opportunity to join a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. We are looking for an experienced **Driller** or someone who is looking to get in to this position for their career. This is a multisite role based on various quarry sites in the area.

**The Driller** **will be responsible for**:

- You will be responsible for operating a Drill Rig to Drill Holes to specific measurements and work scopes.
- You will be required to review your work progressively until the task at hand has been completed and progress accordingly when necessary
- You will be expected to deal with any physical day to day requirements, this includes changing Machine Drill Bits, Moving Machines, Lifting Equipment, Handling Liquids, and Changing Hammers.
- In charge of Health and Safety of machinery doing pre-start checks and ensuring this is continued throughout the shift.
- Capture all drilling information on a drilling log
- To report all near misses and accidents in line with the company procedures.

**The Driller will need to have**:

- Experience as machine **Driller** - Ideal
- Experience working outside in a manual handling, active job.
- Driving license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
