Job description

NSEC in partnership with North Somerset Council is responsible for collecting recycling and waste from over 90,000 homes and commercial businesses across North Somerset, along with managing Household Waste Recycling Centres at Backwell, Portishead and Weston.

We are seeking a professional Weighbridge Operator to support the companies Waste Solutions team in operating and managing the acceptance of waste in ways that ensure that all parties comply with statutory legalisation and health and safety.

You will be responsible for the operation of the Company’s electronic weighbridge system and record and compilate the waste input records, site access records and any other weighbridge related records.
- Previous experience of working in a similar administration role
- Friendly, approachable and professional at all times whilst managing and dealing with customers
- The ability to recognise problems and deal with them in a speedy and efficient manner
- Full UK clean driving licence
