**Job Title: CNC Programmer and Operator (Beiesse Rover A)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Program the Biesse Rover A CNC router using CAM software to generate toolpaths and machining instructions for the production of fire doors, doorsets, timber screens, and washroom systems.
- Set up and prepare the CNC router for operation according to programmed specifications, including loading materials, selecting appropriate tools, and configuring machine parameters.
- Interpret technical drawings, specfications, and work orders to determine machining requirements and ensure accurate production.
- Operate the CNC router to execute machining tasks with precision and efficiency, monitoring the process to maintain quality standards and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on the CNC router, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Collaborate with supervisors, CNC programmers, and other team members to optimize machining processes, prioritize tasks, and address any concerns or improvements related to CNC programming and operation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to create a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
- Maintain records of production activities, including material usage, machine settings, and quality inspection results, to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on advancements in CNC machining technology, CAM software, techniques, and best practices through training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a CNC programmer and operator, preferably with specific experience programming and operating the Beiesse Rover A model.
- Proficiency in CAM software for CNC programming and generating toolpaths.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, including tool selection, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Basic computer skills for operating CNC control software and maintaining production records.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Vocational training or certification in CNC machining or related field.
- Previous experience with Biesse Rover A CNC routers or similar models.
- Knowledge of woodworking or metal fabrication manufacturing processes.
