**About the Opportunity**

Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.

Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.

Jacobs are seeking a Cost Controller who will report operationally to the Sizewell C Cost and Change Lead, who is based in France. The Project Cost and Change team is part located in Montrouge, France and part located in Bristol, UK.

The team plays a key role in the execution of the SZC project, specifically the financing model of the project (Regulated Asset Based) requires a high level of transparency and reporting. The SZC project defines a wide range of requirements that the Project Cost and Change team will implement and manage. Key responsibilities will be:

- Management of the budget including the actuals of the previous years, the current year, and the forecast at completion
- Quotation of Compensation Events and Variations
- Editing & following cost actuals
- Cost Breakdown Structure
- Ensure consistency with the Work Breakdown Structure used for the time schedule to calculate Cost Performance Indicator (CPI)
- Invoicing between EPR-E (UK entity) and France
- Quality control on the booking information: with correction if needed

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Previous experience in project cost control
- Ability to synthesise large volumes of data
- Capacity to communicate clearly on cost topics to technical disciplines
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, VBA and Power BI experience
- Highly organised, conscientious, good communicator.
- Ability to navigate in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders
