**Working for an award winning, ever-evolving business, joining a busy finance team, we are looking for an experienced Company Bookkeeper to run the accounts function for The Cheshire Cheese Company.**

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- **Processing payments to suppliers accurately including expense payment runs / monitoring credit card payments**:

- **Processing invoices, income and receipts, entering data onto Xero**:

- **Allocating income and expenditure to the correct cost centres**:

- **Completing VAT returns**:

- **Regular bank reconciliations and short / mid - ranged cash flow forecasts. Reconciliation of E-commerce ‘bank’ accounts including PayPal.**:

- **Generation of monthly financial statements and business reports (including but not limited to P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, Margins Analysis).**:

- **Balance Sheet reconciliations including posting, reviewing & reconciling stock**:

- **Supporting with raising and processing sales invoices**:

- **Chasing unpaid invoices and supporting any debt management**:

- **Processing information for both the weekly and monthly wages including payroll queries, holiday hours, payroll journals and the payment of PAYE. An external payroll bureau completes the production of the wage run but information needs to be collated, sent and reviewed.**:

- **Support the coordination of information for the annual audit**:

- **Support the annual budgeting process**:

- **Intercompany recharges and payments.**

**Skills required**:

- **Experienced bookkeeper that understands cost centres, allocation, and the management of budgets**:

- **Strong accuracy skills**:

- **Good Excel spreadsheet skills**:

- **Knowledge of Xero Preferred**:

- **Creative within a culture of continuous improvement**

**Job Types: Permanent, Full-time**

**Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per year FTE 42 hours per week.**
