Vacancy: Partner in Learning Mentor

Grade D SCP 8 - 12 with corresponding salaries of £11.81 per hour - £12.70 per hour

Permanent, Full Time, Term Time Only (Job share may be considered)

31.25 Hours per week/38 weeks per annum

*Which includes 4 x 25 minute duties per week.

8.10am - 3.15pm Monday - Friday (Term Time Only plus one training day at the beginning of each academic year)

*20 minute break per day

*25 minute lunch break four times each week and 50 minute lunch break once each week

This is a unique opportunity to join a small, tight-knit team at the cutting edge of developing bespoke curriculum and pedagogy to help some of our most complex, charismatic and interesting young people to feel safe, respected and able to thrive.

The D.E.L.L. (Department for Enrichment of Literacy and Learning), established in 2019, is a custom-designed space and curriculum built to address the needs of students who enter secondary school requiring significant additional support with their literacy skills.

St Peter’s is an oversubscribed school, known as a high performing school and nationally recognised for our approaches to character education. Our most recent Ofsted inspection (‘Good’ November 2019 and SIAMS inspection (‘Excellent’ May 2019) indicate the significant progress we have made in developing well rounded students who ‘live life to the full’.
