Nursery Assistant

_**Job Description Nursery Assistant 25-30 Hours per Week**_
- _The position is working with children aged 0-5years_
- **Essential Criteria**_
- Applicants should hold a minimum of CCLD Level 2 in Childcare & Education or Equivalent
- Applicants must be over 18 years of age
- Health & Social Care & A-Level Childcare Qualifications _**Do Not Qualify**_ _for this position_
- **Desirable Criteria**_
- Experience of working in a Day Care Nursery Setting with children aged 0-5years would be desirable for this position
- Hold an up to date core training in Child Safeguarding Certificate
- Hold an up to date core training in Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Some of the duties you will be required to fulfil in this position are:_
- You will be responsible to Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor and Management
- You will be working as part of a team providing day to day care for our children
- Ensuring that there is a safe, caring and welcoming environment for the children and their families.
- Helping to provide age appropriate and stimulating activities for children on a daily basis
- Nappy changing, toileting children & feeding children alongside, cleaning and preparing the room and equipment for the children on a daily basis
- Have good communication skills to enable effective working within your team
- Core training will be provided where necessary i.e. Food Hygiene
