**Excellent opportunity for a Blinds and Curtain Fitters Mate to join a well-established company based in South East London**

**The Company**

We are looking for a Blind Fitters Mate to join our team. Previous curtain, blind or cubicle track fitting experience is preferred however not essential as full training will be given but a good knowledge of working with power and hand tools, an eye for detail, and the ability to take accurate measurements are essential.

**Main duties**

Following an online daily calendar and with constant support from a Lead engineer and back office you would attend various sites to install, repair and survey a large variety of window blinds, curtains and hospital cubicle track installations mainly within Greater London. Other tasks including but not limited to;
- On-site installation of bespoke blinds, curtains and cubicle tracks
- On-site repairs and maintenance of existing blinds, curtains and Cubicle tracks.
- On-site survey and measurements for new projects/installations

**Must have skills **(absolutely essential):

- Confident in using power and hand tools, hardware fixings
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Taking accurate Surveys
- Ability to learn from lead fitter on the job
- Good communication skills
- Good time management
- Ability to take initiative

**Career growth**:

- Training on window blinds repairs and fitting
- Training on use of various mechanical assembly and tools
- Further developing customer facing/communication skills

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Salary: £26,772.82
- Paid Overtime - if/when needed
