Job Title: Counter Salesperson

Job Summary:
Main duties include but are not restricted to:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations based on their needs
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Upsell products to increase sales revenue
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Utilize basic numeracy skills for cash handling and transactions
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries
- Driving van to deliver products to customers and pickup and delivery of mowers, this would be on an ad-hoc basis when required.
- Assisting in yard when required.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail sales preferably in agricultural, fencing or garden machinery sectors.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Basic numeracy for processing transactions
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven ability to sell or promote products effectively
- Physically fit
- Full driving licence

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
