**What will I be doing?**
We’re working to improve the lives of children in Somerset - and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

- Checking, processing, and paying claims from nursery providers for funding for 2-year-olds, the Early Years Entitlement and 30 hours.
- Providing detailed advice/support for the nursery/school sector and members of the public. This will include resolving any complaints or issues.
- Management responsibilities - supervising and co-ordinating the day-to-day work of the team.

**What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?**
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

- Can prioritise and be flexible to the changing needs of the service.
- Have good IT Skills - knowledge of Capita One Education would be desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with good attention to detail.
- GCSE in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or equivalent.

**Anything else I should know?**
The salary for this role is Grade 13, ranging from £21,968 - £24,054 per annum pro rata. This position is working 18.5 hours per week - Monday to Wednesday.
