The Role

Quotient Sciences are expanding rapidly, with a clear commitment to drug substance development and manufacture ands have recently opened an $8m new kilo lab facility. We are currently recruiting for a Soft Services Team Leader to play a vital role in the support and running of site operations, whilst playing a key role in the facilities department.

**Key Tasks**:

- Manage site cleaning personnel and contract personal hygiene services to ensure that specified standards are maintained
- Manage the site grounds maintenance activities, ensuring high standards are maintained
- Manage the contracted Pest Control operations to agreed standards
- Manage the site security staff
- To ensure where appropriate that all activities are carried out in accordance with Regulatory Standards and current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS’s)
- Ensure that goods are received in compliance with company procedures
- Manage the site portering services to ensure that deliveries are provided in accordance with internal customer requirements
- Manage the collection, segregation, packaging, disposal and recording of all waste streams, ensuring compliance with current regulations
- Manage dispatches from site in compliance with regulations
- Manage the laundry services to ensure employee requirements are met
- Arrangement of shipments (Radioactive, temperature controlled) with selection of courier companies, ensuring that client confidentiality is always maintained.
- Receiving all deliveries through the goods in the lobby, writing down information that is required to book goods onto the site's booking system.
- Provide administration support in departmental document management, preparing EHS courses for the e-learning platform
- Taking delivery of cardice (dry ice) & gas bottles. Ordering of site gases & liquid nitrogen, Argon.
- Ensures work is conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies/procedures and client requirements where appropriate
- The use of the site forklift for carrying out deliveries. Works with due regard to health & safety of self & others.
- Waste solvent collections and entering information on to site spreadsheet, also palletising solvent drums & shrink wrapping.
- Collection of radioactive waste from site, Enter all waste on site ISO account.
- Knowledge and experience of soft services operations within Facilities Management including working in a regulatory environment
- Management of Staff, contractors and contracts
- Knowledge of cGMP in a Pharmaceutical background
- IATA Trained in Dangerous Goods and Radiocative material by air
- ADR Certificate in carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road
