**About the team**:
The Test department supports OSB Group by verifying, validating and measuring the quality of system or software under test. The Testing department ensure that testing in all forms and all stages is performed effectively to demonstrate that the product satisfiesthe business and end user requirements and provide confidence in the quality of the solution. The team is split across 4 main sites - Chatham, Wolverhampton, Bangalore and Hyderabad. All 4 sites collaborate to deliver the testing tasks.

**What you will be doing**:
In this role, you will be responsible for leading day to day quality test deliverables, planning & execution for a number of projects within a smaller Programme of work or workstream

Your responsibilities will include

Scope, plan, prepare and coordinate the test activity for projects, releases, change and defect fixes to achieve successful delivery to time and quality
- Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the Group and third parties to drive Test outcomes
- Mentor test analyst and junior members of the testing team in the UK and India where required including carrying out monthly one to one sessions with assigned resource in the UK and India supporting assigned projects
- Develop and maintain a detailed working knowledge and level of expertise to support each system / project and testing phase
- Ensure team create and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases and test scripts which are fit for purpose for each project and test phase.
- Ensure project deliverables are met and delivered on time for each project and test phase
- Understand and execute end to end test process, implementing quality recommendations
- Provide forecasted and actual test estimates to contribute to overall project or change planning timelines and resource requirements specifically for required testing cycles based on approved entry and exit criteria.
- Manage issues, defects and observations in a timely manner where the business or functional requirements or process changes do not meet the aims and goals of the business area.
- Attend specific third party steering meetings.
- Attend and chair (where required) team and business meetings to update on progress and status of work schedule and testing delivery.

**In return for your commitment**:
We offer a competitive base salary of Wolverhampton £44,000 - £49,500 / Chatham £46,000 - £54,000 dependent on location and a competitive benefits package including:

**Could you be the one?**

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

- 4 years previous experience testing core systems within the Financial Services industry
- 4 years previous experience using Test Management Tools (HP Quality Center/ALM /Azure DevOps Test Plan etc)
- Experience of working alongside BA's, PMs and Development teams
- Detailed knowledge of the software development cycle and the defect resolution process
- Detailed knowledge of System Testing, regression testing and User Acceptance frameworks
- Detailed knowledge of Testing Methodologies and Testing Lifecycle
- Thorough understanding of structured test methods and processes covering manual and automated testing
