**Technical Engineer**

**Location**:Hybrid - must be able to commute to client site across the UK and Cheshire based office

They have a team of highly skills consultants with expertise across Networking and Security, Infrastructure,Virtualisation, and Public / Private cloud platforms.

Due to growth, they are looking for a Technical Engineer to support the Consultancy Team with client escalations, BAU support, migrations, projects, and deployments. You will use your broad experience across infrastructure and networking to support and managea variety of technologies. You will have the chance to progress your career - learning new technologies and gaining professional qualifications and ultimately have the chance to progress long-term into a Technical Consultant. This is a brilliant opportunityfor a highly skilled and capable individual to join their growing Consultancy Team where you will work closely with the customer and support team to engage solutions deployed with outstanding vendors and market leading technologies.

**Key Responsibilities: Technical **Engineer**
- Support clients with a variety of technical support, BAU migrations, and new project work
- Support Technical Consultants with technical deployments
- Analysing problems and make recommendations to the wider team and customer
- Prepare documentation and packaging of new technology systems and services to customer and the wider business including progress reports and post consultancy project handover

**Experience Required: Technical **Engineer**
- Previous experience in a 2nd or 3rd Line Support role or similar i.e. Technical Engineer, IT Engineer, Technical Support, IT Support, or Infrastructure Analyst
- Broad commercial experience of as much as possible:

- Core Server and Storage experience (Dell hardware or Microsoft Servers as a preference)
- Hyper-V or VMware
- Microsoft O365 or Windows 10
- Azure (Active Directory and modern workplace technology)
- Back-up technologies (Veeam as a preference)
- Strong communication skills
- Full driving licence + ability to visit client sites across the UK
