**Company Overview/Objective**:
R&R Groundwork Services Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced drainage operative/groundworker to provide support to a key client within the water/wastewater sector, general job details include:

- Start Date: 02/05/2023 onwards
- Rates (Subcontract/Self Employed/CIS): £15 per hour
- Duration: Temporary or Permanent
- Working Hours: 39 hours (7.30am-4pm)
- Annual bonuses
- Overtime available
- Weekend working available
- Potential ‘on call’ available

**Key Accountabilities**:
Carry out general civils work and various tasks relative to the water/wastewater sector (small works), as directed by the Construction Manager/Site Supervisor, including but not limited to:

- Preparing site compounds
- Installing haul roads
- Installation/Repair of drains and sewers
- Install and maintain over-pumping systems
- Installation/Repair of manhole chambers
- Concreting foundations/general concreting
- Laying ducts
- Laying kerbs
- Flags and block paving
- Small Landscaping
- Compiling site documentation using electronic tablet
- Ensure timesheets are submitted accurately and on time
- Adhere to company absence reporting procedure
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Liaison with customers

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years groundwork experience - preferred
- A valid UK driving licence - essential
- In date CSCS card - essential
- Street works (NRASWA) qualifications - preferred
- Trench Support & Excavation - preferred
- CPCS/NPORS (machine tickets) - preferred
- Confined Spaces (medium risk) - preferred

Training to be provided if ‘preferred’ expectations not met, can be discussed as part of interview process and rate review. Must be able to commute to yard base each day. Hartlepool location advantageous.
