**Mechanical Design Engineer - £40K - £45K - Bristol - Consumer Products and Equipment**

I’m currently recruiting for a leading global company specialising in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical consumer products. They’re looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic and dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer to join an innovative design team.You’ll get the opportunity to work on exciting new projects from concept through to manufacture as well as working closely with suppliers and verifying designs.

**Main Duties Include**:
+ Detailed product design

+ R&D and NPI

+ 3D CAD design using Creo

+ Prototyping and testing

+ Production of BOM’s and design documentation

**Skills and Experience Required**:
+ Strong 2D/3D CAD design experience (Creo preferred)

+ Design for manufacture experience

+ A good knowledge of sheet metal/injection moulding processes

+ Experience using PTC Windchill or any other PLM software

+ Experience designing products from concept through to production

Salary will be between 40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. The company also has a range of benefits including on-site parking, retail discounts and flexible working.
