Housekeeper (Bank)

**We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team.**

**This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.**

**Applicants should meet the following criteria**:

- Competence in literacy and numeracy
- Good Communication skills essential
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Prior experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided

**Duties of this role include**:

- To clean all assigned areas within the hospital using cleaning materials and equipment as directed
- To clean patient rooms in a polite and orderly manner including stripping and making of beds
- To replenish disposable items such as toilet rolls, hand towels and soap, etc.
- To ensure that hospital linen stocks are correctly used and maintained in a clean and tidy manner.
