Clinical Psychologist

A permanent Band 8a Clinical Psychology post within the dynamic inpatient psychological therapy service. We are seeking an enthusiastic qualified clinical psychologist who can contribute positively and flexibly to the inpatient service at Wotton Lawn. Consideration will also be given to those working towards an 8a banding through a preceptorship.
The inpatient psychological therapies team is an established experienced team. It consists of an additional three clinical psychologists, an art psychotherapist, an apprentice clinical associate psychologist (CAP) and a job-share assistant psychologist(s) working across the hospital and the wider forensic service.
The team have close links with the DClinPsych training at Bath University and support a number of training placements for clinical psychology, arts psychotherapy and psychotherapy trainees. The team also have links with Plymouth and Cardiff Universities offering sandwich year placements to undergraduate student psychologists.
Within the wider Trust, the inpatient psychological therapies team works alongside colleagues within Recovery, Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention, Perinatal, Criminal Justice and Liaison and Complex Emotional Needs Teams.
