Key Focus:
As part of the Jurassic Fibre team you will be helping us to scale our business and support the Marketing & Digital strategy and subsequent plans as we transform the fibre industry in the south west. This is a role that would suit someone looking for autonomy, accountability and disruptive innovation.

As an experienced Head of Marketing you will be responsible for setting budgets, targets and delivery timelines in order to manage the launch of new products and services. You will analyse and report on campaign effectiveness ensuring we continually deliver strong ROI.

You will be leading the PR and communications strategy, delivering both locally and nationally where appropriate. In addition you will be leading and mentoring members of the Marketing team and managing partner and vendor relationships ensuring the team are structured to ensure success.

This role will report to: Chief Customer Officer Job Description:
Key duties and responsibilities will include:

- Develop Jurassic Fibre into the leading fixed telecoms brand in the southwest and a leading brand in the region.
- Manage the sponsorship portfolio across 30 towns and villages to deliver on the company’s grassroots strategy and brand and lead generation targets.
- Develop an Above The Line (ATL) strategy across multiple counties, ensuring media mix that supports the company’s brand and lead generation ambitions.
- Develop and deliver the marketing plan for Jurassic Fibre’s B2B channel, including both direct and reseller channels.
- Manage all of Jurassic Fibre’s digital presence, including paid and organic social media, web, PPC campaigns, and content and SEO plans.
- Develop the KPIs for marketing across both acquisition and retention
- Run the company’s PR strategy across traditional and digital channels.
- Manage a portfolio of events across 30 towns in the region in partnership with the sales team
- Built a product marketing capability encompassing B2C and B2B broadband and incremental services such as Wi-Fi and fixed voice, and lead the internal debate around the company’s product propositions
- Manage a roster of multiple agencies, including digital, brand, PR, creative production, and data analytics.
- Build and develop a marketing team capable of delivering our ambitions
- You will be developing and delivering marketing strategies and campaigns that drive customer growth and value
- Lead, develop and promote our brand identity ensuring that its applied and understood across the business.
- You will develop a customer engagement strategy and support the development of a proactive brand aligned digital presence
- Supporting the development and implementation of marketing systems you will work closely with sales and technology to ensure best in class technology
- Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders in the delivery of the business strategy you will build strong relationships across the organisation
- Planning & leading our advertising and promotional campaigns you will be delivering best in class results that deliver year on year customer growth
- You will support the development of customer segmentation to enable relevant marketing and promotional offers, working with external agencies where appropriate
- You will work closely with the Head of Sales to develop appropriate content and campaigns that drive growth and profitability
- You will work with the customer experience team to develop events and meet new and existing customers in the communities we serve
- You will be an inspirational leader to your team and act as a role mode, mentoring and coaching team members.

Person Spec: Required Knowledge & Qualifications:
Essential:

- You will have a degree in marketing, business administration or related
- Experience in running a marketing function in a similarly-sized B2C services or utility company, such as telecoms, energy or similar. B2B marketing experience a distinct advantage, but not essential.
- You will have successfully delivered marketing to support the hypergrowth stage of a business’ development
- You will have demonstrable experience of successfully delivering & measuring the success of digital & direct marketing campaigns along with driving proactive social media engagement, underpinned by best in class content
- You will have experience of driving successful client retention demand generation / marketing campaigns working with closely with key stakeholders in the wider business
- You will have extensive experience in sales, marketing, advertising, and brand management
