**JOB - Mechanical Inspector**
**LOCATION - Berkshire**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £27,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience**
An engineering company in the Berkshire area are looking for a Mechanical Inspector to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is ideal for anyone who has a keen eye for detail and wants to pursue or continue a career in the Automotive sector.
**The Mechanical Inspector will ideally have the following attributes**:

- The ability to read engineering drawings both in paper and computerised format
- Previous experience in a similar Inspection role
- The ability to use various hand-held measuring tools and a manual CMM
- Good communication skills
- The ability to discuss quality issues both internally and with external suppliers
- Good computer literacy skills
- The ability to work as part of a team but also to be able use their own initiative when required

**The Mechanical Inspector role will involve**:

- Inspecting various metallic and non-metallic components produced internally and from outside suppliers
- Using hand-held and CMM measuring equipment
- Maintaining inspection records
- Liaising as required with internal departments and external suppliers with regards to any quality issues
