Midday Supervisory Assistant

Winchelsea is a popular rural primary school, with supportive and dedicated staff, governors and parents. We are over-subscribed due to the strong reputation we hold in our local community. Our children are polite, motivated, happy and willing to learn.

**_Midday Supervisory Assistant_**
G2.3 £20,441 pro rata - 6hrs 25 minutes per week, temporary; term time.

The post involves working as part of a team to ensure an enjoyable, safe and sociable lunchtime for all pupils.

**_Duties include but are not limited to:_**
- setting up tables, cutlery and crockery for lunchtime,
- supervising and encouraging children to eat and enjoy their lunch,
- serving hot meals,
- clearing up afterwards, cleaning and putting tables and chairs away,
- supervising on the playground and helping children to play safely,
- classroom supervision during wet playtime,
- first aid as required.

Basic health and hygiene training will be given along with safeguarding training.

- promote the safeguarding and welfare of the children in our school,

The post is for one hour and fifteen minutes daily (Mon-Fri, term time only).
