Young Inspector

We are looking to hire two Young Inspectors to support the Participation and Engagement team with championing youth voice and ensuring children and young people in Merton are receiving the best possible standards of participation and engagement in organisations that work with them. Your role will involve working with other teams across Merton, supporting project delivery and presenting at meetings and events.

The role is on a part-time basis, three hours per week, on a two year fixed contract. This role is ringfenced for care-experienced young people as we work to highlight the voices of young people who have lived experience of foster care from Merton Council.

Your role will involve evening and weekend work, as we ensure the best ways to engage directly from young people. In addition, the role will involve engaging with local young people to ensure that they have the opportunities and support to shape and influence all aspects of service delivery.
