A position has become available for an experienced fabricator/welder, with preferably a good agricultural background, to work alongside me but prominently on their own, so will need to be self motivated, reliable & trust worthy.
Currently its just me as a sole trader running the company, but with the recent demand in work I need an additional employee to help with the workload.
The job will consist of general fabrication within the workshop, but also the potential to be out on site due to certain repairs, majority of which will be mobile welding.
Mainly MIG welding, some ARC & occasional TIG (This is not necessary).
This position is currently a 3 month trial period, but depending on how you get on a further full time/part time position could become available.

Job Requirements:

- Be able to confidently operate a tractor & forklift.
- Reliable.
- Polite & well mannered.
- Work in a safe manor.
- Demonstrate a high level of MIG welding.
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
- Some mechanical knowledge
- A clean driving licence preferred

Job Desirables:

- Some agricultural experience or a good understanding of the industry.
- 5 years or more work experience in a similar environment.
- Abrassive wheels training.
- Codings
- Hours of work - 8am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Weekend work also available.
- Rate of pay - £15 - £18per hour. (depending upon experience).
