We are looking for someone to join our friendly, dynamic team as a Junior designer / Print studio assistant. Based in new all purpose print facility at Orwell House, Milton Road, we offer a spacious, creative, hands-on studio working environment.

Minuteman Press has been operating within Cambridge for over 14 years with a fantastic reputation for being the ‘one-stop shop’ for all your printing needs, and the business has enjoyed continued growth over this period.

Our creative-minded team proudly serve individuals, small businesses and large organisations in the city, with an emphasis on producing exciting, innovative print solutions alongside excellent customer service. As a result, we are seeking a highly motivated, honest and conscientious individual to join our team.

**The duties comprise but are not exclusive to**:

- Printing of leaflets, posters, cards, banners etc, utilising the latest digital print technology.
- Editing designs and artworking them into a press ready state.
- Designing all manor of print stationery.
- Operating a wide range of finishing equipment, including booklet makers, laminators and die cutters.
- Effective communication with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- Updating customer account software and generating quotations and invoices.

**Qualifications / Skills required are**:

- Adobe design software including illustrator, indesign, acrobat (essential).
- C grade or equivalent in GCSE English and Maths minimum
- A strong, creative mind with a strive to pushing their design skills further
- Reliable, flexible team player
- Excellent time and self management skills
- Proactive, positive, enthusiastic - demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude and a problem solving approach.
- Ability to work accurately and quickly to meet tight deadlines
- Good standard of education and excellent spelling ability
- Customer focussed, providing a professional, friendly service
- Good general computer skills (experience in Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
