Civil Enforcement Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Car Park Team. Our Car Park Team assist residents and visitors to the area whilst they use our car parking facilities which are spread across the South Hams area. This involves a mix of areas including towns, villages and beachside locations.
The role is predominantly a mobile role (a vehicle will be provided) and will involve working within the South Hams area carrying out a number of functions. The main objective for this role is to make sure the car parking facilities we provide are in a good working order and we are able to assist users of these car parks, allowing them to have the best possible experience. This role also involves a level of enforcement for those that contravene the rules set out in each car park.
We are looking for someone who is able to converse easily with users of our car parks and has a genuine will to help. In addition, we are looking for person who is able to de-escalate situations and who has a calm approach.
Full training will be given and you will work closely with other members of the team. If you are a people person, enjoy seeing a task through to completion and enjoy travelling through a beautiful area in the South West, then we want to hear from you.
Due to the mobile element of the role, a Full UK driving licence is required.
**IMPACT: Band D**
The hours require working unsocial hours to include weekends and bank holidays for which enhanced rates of pay apply.
