**Position: Bakery Assistant**

The Bakery Assistant is responsible for providing excellent teamwork and maintaining high quality food production and packaging in accordance with Ooh & Aah Cookies standards. This position will also assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety of the food production area.

**Core Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the food production area is clean and orderly.
- Follow all local, state, and Ooh & Aah Cookies guidelines to maintain high quality, quantity, and quantity of food products.
- Operate all equipment in a safe manner to ensure the safety of workers and customers.
- Follow all health and safety standards to ensure that customers are able to enjoy the quality of food produced.
- Maintain sanitation procedures as outlined by Ooh & Aah Cookies and local regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

**Skills**:

- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to use common kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, blenders, etc.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £7.62-£11.40 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
