**Commercial Controller - General Manager**

Opportunity to join a recognised brand name, where you will lead, oversee and ensure delivery for the following areas:

- Management accounting and KPI reporting function
- Annual budget and periodic forecasting cycle
- Pricing policy and margin management. Partnering with colleagues and wider group companies
- To agree and deliver short-, medium
- and long-term objectives / strategies aligned to the corporate vision that are agreed by senior management
- To ensure financial governance, management and controls are adequate and operated correctly, including proactively developing colleague and processes within their area or responsibility

**Key Responsibilities**:
Managing a team of qualified and part qualified accountants, analysts and other finance professionals to deliver:
**Management Accounting**:

- Accurate and timely production of the monthly management accounts & KPI’s
- Produce & presents financial results to leadership team inc. variance analysis each month
- Submission on monthly KPI reporting to European & Africa Region and parent co.
- Management of Cost Centre reporting and monitoring the company’s overheads vs plan
- Responsible for overseeing calculation, accuracy & adequateness of provisions including: Residual Risk and IFRS9 Retail & Wholesale credit impairment
- Lead annual budget & forecast cycle for finance. Aligning financial models to corp. strategy
- Provision of financial information for regulatory returns e.g., FCA & National Statistics
- Production of ad hoc financial analysis as required,

**Pricing**:

- To oversee and manage via the Pricing dept. pricing of: National Marketing Campaigns for New & Used vehicles / Centre pricing of 'standard’ terms for the franchises / Pricing of terms for 'Redline’ Non-Franchise brand / Pricing of Wholesale rates and loansfor stocking and mortgage loans
- Ownership of: Joint pricing’ methodology / calculation and collection of subvented support under joint pricing method /
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of all pricing related reporting and analytics
- Manage provision of timely pricing support & advice
- Ensure regular monitoring of support levels & performances of new business & margin
- Make recommendations on both national and niche products
- Lead in developing and refining pricing models and processes

**Systems Accounting**:

- Ownership of reconciliation of interfaces between source systems & general ledger (SAP)
- Ensure the integrity of the data is managed and maintained
- That root cause analysis is completed, and issues resolved proactively

**Skills & Experience**:

- Qualified Accountant ACA / ACMA / FCCA
- Leading a team & People Management
- Strong Excel and Power-point skills
- Financial Service experience
- 5yr+ Post qualification experience
- Management Accounting experience
- Change management
- Systems: IT/SAP/Microsoft Office/Essbase
- Exposure to a regulated environment
