Arden White Recruitment are currently working with one of the largest dairies in the country and recruiting for an Asset Care Technician position. The role of the Asset Care Technician will be responsible for carrying out all asset care tasks in-house. This will involve workshop activities related to refurbishment, as well as greasing and checks on process and utilities equipment.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure effective handover of information across shifts
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance according to agreed schedules for various equipment
- Conduct weekly checks on equipment such as sleever, filters, Videojet, and panels
- Maintain all rotational spares, stretcher modules, linear rails, cutting and tube infeed units, cap chucks, actuators, and carry out CIL schedule
- Set up and maintain standard operating conditions
- Perform PDC Station repairs
- Maintain trolley packer
- Observe, recognize, and report on machinery or component defects or signs of impending failure
- Service, adjust, and repair machinery and equipment using proper tools and safety precautions
- Utilize the CMMS system effectively, accurately recording information
- Utilize CMMS historical data for improvement initiatives and fault resolution
- Support site roadmaps for quality, health and safety, environmental management, engineering, and autonomous maintenance
- Support improvement activities/events within facilities and engineering owned areas
- Understand the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business goals
- Be aware of how current performance impacts the bottom line

**Key skills & experience**:

- Experience working in a processing environment
- Experience with LOTO (lockout/tagout) procedures is beneficial
- Basic knowledge of leading a team
