**ABOUT FILM STORE**

Film Store is a full-service Film and Television rental house with offices in London and Bristol. Specialising in multi-camera solutions and facilitating filming in challenging environments, we routinely devise large-scale bespoke solutions and send equipment all over the world. We work across the production spectrum and facilitate shoots as diverse as long-form documentaries, blue chip natural history, multi-camera entertainment and commercial campaigns.

Our services extend beyond equipment hire to crewing, consultation, engineering, training, and logistics. Offering a comprehensive range of services to our clients has seen us earn the trust of numerous indies and agencies, as well as become preferred suppliers of The BBC and ITV. Film Store is part of the ES Media Group, a specialist supplier of end-to-end services for the professional broadcast and production industries, encompassing broadcast equipment sales and rental, broadcast systems integration, production equipment rental and media services.

**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

In the cutting-edge technical broadcast industry, Film Store is a dynamic and rapidly growing company. The driver will be an integral member of our team, providing a vital link to the outside world, ensuring outstanding service and on-time delivery for our clients.

**DUTIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

This is a full-time role, based at our Earlsfield office in London. A rota system is in place in the warehouse team to ensure continuity of staff. Schedules are allocated on a 2-weekly basis, and will incorporate the following shifts:
Early: 07:00 - 16:00
Mid: 09:00 - 18:00
Late: 10:00 - 19:00

There will be some requirement for occasional weekend work on call. The role is made up of the following activities but not limited to:

- Collecting and delivering camera kits from clients, colleagues, and other industry suppliers
- Working with the warehouse team to ensure the company vehicle is well prepared and loaded an organised manner
- Working with warehouse management to ensure that routes efficiently planned, and the office are kept informed of progress
- Updating the team on transportation issues by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration
- Using GPS navigation apps and knowledge of the area to deliver packages to customers on time
- Delivering weekly maintenance checks on company vans and informing management of any issues
- Delivering products that are in good condition to clients
- Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork
- Updating route, mileage, and delivery logs

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Professional driving experience, specifically driving a transit van. Minimum 5 years
- Current full/clean UK driving license
- Experience of driving for long-distances, through central London/inner city routes, and through challenging weather conditions
- Fluent written & spoken English
- The ability to follow instructions and prioritise tasks
- Good interpersonal skills to enable friendly, professional interaction with clients
- Good time management skills
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and results-focused approach to work

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
- To take responsibility for your own health and safety as necessary
- Online courses for Heavy Lifting procedures provided
- To always comply with the company’s policies and procedures

All staff will be DBS checked as an onboarding procedure

**WORKING WITH FILM STORE**

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, SW17 0JH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 5 years (required)
- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
