Host/hostess

Kingland House in Poole is looking for a friendly Hostess to work with the Kitchen Manager to serve meals and drinks to our wonderful residents to assist the kitchen and care teams.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
The role of the Hostess is to be a part of the kitchen team under the instruction of the kitchen manager and the cook. You will work to create a dining experience for Residents at the home by setting the dining tables, serving hot and cold drinks, serving lunch, topping up snack stations, and assisting the kitchen where needed. You will need to enjoy interacting and communicating with the elderly. All regulations for food health and hygiene must be adhered to at all times.

ABOUT YOU:

- Experience in hospitality/catering is beneficial
- Willing to learn attend training
- Presentable appearance
- Good level of English
- A good team worker
- Honest and kind person who can work under pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week
