Electrical Wireman

You will be responsible for reviewing technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine and understand the sequence of operations.

Prime Switchgear specialise in manufacturing LV Switchgear in house with equipment such as LV Switchboards, bespoke Panels, Panelboards, Distribution Boards, ATS units, Power Factor correction etc, we are a fully licenced partner with the market leader Schneider Electric so we are always up to date with the new market products that they promote worldwide. We are looking to see huge growth going forward servicing sectors such as commercial, industrial, residential, healthcare, education etc in the contruction industry.

Daily Responsibilities will include:

- **Wiring and switchgear assembly.**:

- Operating hand tools, electric tools and associated equipment within the work-shop.
- **To ensure every aspect of health and safety compliance is adhered to.**:

- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to determine the method and sequence of operations.
- **You will select, cut and lay wires and connect to sockets if required, plugs or terminals by crimping, soldering, brazing or bolting.**:

- You will assemble parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools and fixings.
- **You will work accurately and efficiently and will be able to adapt between working as part of a team, to an independent working style.**:

- You will maintain high professional standards and cleanliness whilst performing your duties; as well as following stringent health and safety procedures whilst working on-site and in the workshop. The position is full time with an attractive package for the right person and plenty of opportunity for progression within the company. The annual holiday entitlement for this position is 20 days plus Bank holidays.

Our hours of work are Monday to Friday, between the core hours of 08:30 to 17:00 with an hour unpaid lunch break. We are incredibly busy with a full order book, so overtime is available and is paid at x1.5 time

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
