**Job description**

We have an exciting opportunity within our growing team as a contents and logistic operative which includes contents cleaning and restoration.

The company deals with fire and flood insurance claims across the south east of England. Following a claim it is often required that all or part of a policy holders contents is removed from a property for assessment and cleaning and storage off site. We are looking to fill a role of a technician who can facilitate both the processing of personal contents items, the cleaning of items and the logístical removals off site.

In the role you will be required to process and list contents from clients as well as logístical removals off site back to our cleaning facilities ready for cleaning and decontamination of affected items.

A high level of attention to detail and professional finishing of items is an important factor in the role.

Job Role
- Deal direct with both insurance companies and policy holders following insurance claims.
- Receive and process contents from on site technicians as well as scope removals of contents for off site works.
- Assess works on site and create scope of works.
- Clean and decontaminate affected contents.
- Process and finish cleaned items to a high standard.

The Employee
- Must be motivated and keen to learn.
- Able to process a number of micro jobs at one time.
- Have confidence and self ability
- Should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and be confident in driving larger vehicles (Not HGV).

Logistics Associate

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and oversee the movement of goods and materials within a warehouse or distribution centre
- Use power tools and hand tools to assemble, disassemble, and build various items
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labelling items
- Operate forklifts or other equipment to safely transport materials
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in logistics or warehouse operations preferred
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively and safely
- Knowledge of carpet cleaning or asbestos abatement procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking purposes
