Removal Person/porter

We are looking for a reliable removal man / van porter to join our team. Removals experience is preferred but not essential - a willingness to learn the trade is essential, with a good level of common sense, work ethic, and the ability to pick up new skills quickly.

Customer service is imperative to us and you will need to be able to deliver the same high level of service. You must be presentable, polite and hardworking.

You will be required to work as part of a team, packing and moving household furniture and contents to customer’s new property or into storage.

**Requirements**:

- Physically strong & fit due to heavy lifting and walking involved in removals.
- The ability to learn to safely load and stack vehicles.
- Honest and responsible attitude to customer's property.
- Good time keeping.
- Flexible in the days and times that you work. Some weekend work will be required.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Working with a team, your main responsibilities will be:

- Carry items to the vehicle(s) safely and without damaging items or premises.
- Loading and securing the contents in the vehicle.
- Driving to the new location, unloading and placing the contents where the customer would like them.
- Ensure the vehicles are tidy and ready for the next day.

**Location**:

- Ammanford, Carmarthenshire.

You must live within 15 miles of our depot in Ammanford and have transport to get to Ammanford in the morning.

Uniform will be provided.
