AMS are an independent plumber’s merchants, which cater for both trade and domestic customers. We have with 30+ years’ experience in the plumbing, heating and bathroom industry. We have branches in Southport, Ormskirk and Thornton.

**Main Duties**:

- Delivering goods to customers
- Processing orders and payments in a timely manner.
- Serving trade and retail customers both in person and on the phone.
- Assisting with the general duties within the branch
- Ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained both on the trade counter and in our warehouse.
- Receive goods in, book goods into our system and help organise stock in our warehouse and shop floor.
- Always looking for opportunities to enhance the sales and customer experience through continuous improvement.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy counter area in line with company standards and always ensuring a tidy working environment.
- Performing any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, resilient attitude with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks

**Skills required**:

- Genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Self-motivated & able to work un-supervised
- Computer literate
- Exceptional personal organisation and a keen eye for detail
- Good telephone manner
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients and colleagues
- Hold a full UK driving licence
