Dog Groomer

This is a fantastic opportunity to come and work for a well established dog grooming business based in the lovely historic market town of Ormskirk.

Reporting into the Salon Manager, your responsibilities will be as follows;
**The role**:

- As Dog Groomer you will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming and you'll deliver the very highest standard of pet grooming.
- You will exceed our customers' expectations by delivering excellent service.
- Your excellent communication skills will be fully utilised as you will be dealing with customers and their pets on a daily basis.
- You will assist in ensuring excellent salon presentation is maintained and high standards are kept through cleanliness, safety and good standards of housekeeping.
- Our salon offers a great service 5 days a week (Tuesday to Saturday inclusive) so you will work 7.5 hours a day on a Wednesday, Friday & Saturday. This position is open to a part-time opportunity, working these 3 days a week.

**About you**:

- You'll have experience of working within a grooming environment, and ideally, you'll have experience in a similar, fast-paced environment where you've taken a hands-on approach.
- It is essential that you are able to complete a groom from start to finish and be confident in handling all breeds of dogs in a safe manner.
- Level 3 Dog Grooming (OCN or City and Guilds)
- Grooming experience ideally in a salon.
- You'll be a people person, have a real passion for pets as well as being a great team player.
