**Scope**:
Responsible for the provision of quality, accurate information, guidance and support through the onboarding process of new starters, including the coordination of volunteers to all parts of the charity. To support the delivery of the People Department’s strategy.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- Awareness of employment legislation, policies, regulations
- Experience of working in the social care sector is desirable, but not essential
- Knowledge of how the People Department contributes to the overall organisational goals
- Demonstrable experience of working in a high performing People / HR Department, including knowledge of learning & development and recruitment processes
- High level of confidentiality
- Experience of working with colleagues across different departments and locations
- Strong IT skills, with experience of HR systems and Microsoft office products
- Excellent problem solver, demonstrating empathy and creativity
- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced professional environment
- Strong team player essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop
- To enjoy working with people
- Driver’s licence with access to a car
