**The role**

As a Finance Officer at Southern Housing, you’ll be a valued member of the Purchase Ledger Team, providing a comprehensive expenditure management service to the organisation. You’ll help ensure that all relevant financial controls are maintained and correct procedures followed. Along with developing and maintaining good professional working relationships with customers and partners. You’ll have a great opportunity to assist in the development of the service to improve customer satisfaction and business effectiveness and strive to meet and improve on performance standards for the team.

**Please note that this role is being offered on a 6-Month Fixed Term Contract / Secondment working 35 hours per week.**

**What you’ll have**

You’ll be able to delivery of a high standard of customer care and have experience using Sun Accounts. You’ll also have experience in the use of Proactis or a similar purchase order system. Along with great attention to detail and accurate and timely data entry.

Working as Southern Housing’s Finance Officer, you’ll possess good communication skills, along with effective organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload. You’ll be a self-motivated individual with a ‘can -do’ attitude and have the appetite to take on a wide range of challenges and changing priorities depending on business needs. This role will involve working as part of a team and equally on your own initiative.
