**Job Overview**:
**Duties**:

- Ensure that the standard operating procedures within the Administration & Accounts department are always followed exactly.
- Dealing with post and distribution of incoming mail.
- Ordering consumables etc. and raising purchase orders accordingly.
- Check Delivery Notes / Receipts against the purchase order.
- Ensure all data is inputted into the Purchase Order spreadsheet promptly and accurately; to allow the tracking of supplier orders & invoices.
- Ensure cash book receipt sheets for Petty Cash are updated onto the spreadsheet.
- Respond to customer queries.
- Report any errors, deviations or non-conformances immediately to the Site Manager.
- Maintain good health, safety and environmental practice at all times.
- Support the Site Manager to ensure successful new project implementation as and when required.
- Support other members of the team as required to ensure the effective running of the business.
- Play an active role in the site’s continuous improvement plan by generating JDI’s, A3’s etc.
- Identify and participate in sustainability improvement projects to reduce the site’s carbon emissions

**Essential**:

- Team player, flexible with good organisational skills.
- Ability to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to propose solutions to problems encountered.
- Ability to use own initiative and work without close supervision.
- Understanding of GMP, Health & safety and Environmental Awareness.
- Numerical and literacy skills.
- Manual handling training.
